A Welcome for Pac Man!

I guess this post will serve as a warm welcome for Pac Man. I am not referring to the people's champ boxer Manny Pacquiao. I am talking about the beloved game played in pizza parlors and arcades during ’80s. Be ready for its comeback with new features that every former “Pac-Man” fanatics and new generations of fans alike will surely love.

Pac Man was reborn under Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox Live online last June 6 as a final tribute for designer Toru Iwatani, who is retiring from the $30 billion games industry he helped ignite. The new version of the iconic arcade game is a faithful interpretation of the addictive 27-year-old original, where players wrenched joystick controllers to race a character - resembling a yellow pizza missing a slice - around a digital maze to chomp white pellets and chase multicolored "ghosts."

It includes new mazes that dynamically change shape during gameplay, six new timed game modes, new soundtracks and high-definition (HD) graphics.
