Nintendo made Nicole Kidman as the new face of its overseas advertising campaign to promote the game maker's More Brain Training from Dr. Kawashima. This game measures a person's speed and accuracy on a series of aptitude tests, and reach beyond its typical young 'n male audience.
Nintendo chose Nicole Kidman because of her universal appeal to mainstream audiences of all ages and backgrounds, as well as her reputation for being intelligent, entertaining and genuine. A commercial shows Kidman playing, training with a Nintendo handheld console, saying that the exercises are "a great way to keep my mind feeling young."
